Asbestos containing materials (ACM) are common in building materials including surfacing, thermal system insulation (TSI), and flooring prior to the 1980s. However, building materials produced today still may include ACM, and many materials must be tested prior to disturbance.

Our relationship with asbestos abatement firms allow us to facilitate abatement activities, as well as the permitting required to conduct the activities. Additionally, our contractor relationships provide for transport and disposal of ACM waste materials generated during abatement activities.

GeoScience Associates personnel experience in preparing, submitting, and managing the permits and forms required to properly abate ACM ensures the schedule of your construction project will not be unduly affected by the need to abate unforeseen ACM discovered during the project.
